NP KRKA & ŠIBENIK daily excursion

Daily excursion to NP KrkaOn the way to National Park Krka, we will have a stop in Šibenik to visit St. Jacob’s Cathedral made in 15th century  (protected by UNESCO). Driving through Dalmatian hinterland with a great view of the coast and islands while listening to stories from past. Visiting Krka National Park, that consists of 17 natural barriers that take your breath away. With its 7 travertine waterfalls and a total drop of 242 meters, the Krka River is a natural and characteristic phenomenon. Walking on the wooden paths through enchanting moving water, accompanied with the rare birds singing, visiting of still active hundred years old water mills, and finding ruins of former hydroelectric plant that was constructed in 1895. and now protected as monument of industrial architecture.   Free time for swimming and paddling under a little waterfall, walking and free time for lunch (not included). Return to Split in the late afternoon.
